Weddings @ RJM's

RJM’s is the perfect venue for intimate weddings. Hire of the venue is very reasonable and allows you private use of the entire venue. This includes the Blue Room and our alfresco, which is beautiful for photos and to experience in Spring to Autumn. The minimum required number of guests is 20, through to 70. At RJM’s we work with you and are available for weddings six days per week (Mon-Sat) from 1 pm.

Why have your wedding at RJM's?

RJM’s can cater for all aspects of your wedding, whether you simply want to have drinks and canapés after the ceremony or your entire function. Both the alfresco and interior Blue Room spaces can be altered for ceremonies and celebrations to suit your individual needs. We also have ‘Food & drink’ packages, based on the duration you would like; from one to five hours. Finger food style catering entails two options for you to choose from – please read below for further details.

A-Toast-and-canapes

OPTION #1 - $66 PER HEAD

CHEESE PLATTER

Four pieces of local cheese; a brie style, a semi-hard cheese, a cheddar and either a blue vein or maple toffee cheddar, with Springmount’s fruit pastes and accompaniments.

CAPRESE

Fresh mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, and basil w/ balsamic glaze.

BLINIS

Smoked salmon, cream cheese and caperberries.

COB LOAVES

Miniature cob loaves filled w/ sour cream and chives, topped w/ bacon and Grana Padano.

HALLOUMI

Flash fried halloumi w/ dukkah, lemon and balsamic glaze.

GARLIC PIZZA

W/ garlic butter, mozzarella, and parsley.

MIXED GOURMET QUICHES

Vegetable quiche and quiche Lorraine

CHICKEN QUESADILLAS

House made, mildly spiced chicken quesadillas w/ sour cream, guacamole and lime.

FLATHEAD FISH

Tempura flathead fish pieces w/ tartare and lemon.

CHOCOLATE TEMPTATION

The ultimate chocolate platter, with an indulgent assortment of everything chocolate, complete with a tempting chocolate dipping sauce and Grounded Pleasures’ GF marshmallows.

*A SUMMER FRUIT PLATTER WILL BE INCLUDED FOR SUMMER AND CHRISTMAS FUNCTIONS.

OPTION #2 - $75 PER HEAD

CHEESE PLATTER

CHARCUTERIE BOARD OR ANTIPASTO BOARD

A selection of Salt Kitchen’s delicacies alongside Castlemaine salami, Roma tomatoes, pickled onions and 1816’s sourdough. /OR Marinated antipasto, kalamatas, Meredith fetta, Penfield’s olive oil and sourdough.

BEETROOT BRUSCHETTA

1816 sourdough w/ baby beetroot, Meredith’s goat’s cheese, walnuts, and rocket.

ASPARAGUS

Prosciutto wrapped asparagus spears w/ lemon oil and Grana Padano.

HALLOUMI

Flash fried halloumi w/ dukkah, lemon and balsamic glaze.

PRAWN PIZZA

Australian King prawn pizza w/ chilli, cherry tomatoes, parsley, and Meredith’s goat’s cheese.

ARANCINI

Tomato arancini in a gluten free crumb.

CHICKEN QUESADILLAS

House made, mildly spiced chicken quesadillas w/ sour cream, guacamole and lime.

SEAFOOD PLATTER

A gourmet seafood platter of oysters, smoked salmon, and fresh prawns w/ lemon, alongside hot flathead fish fillets and tempura prawns served on Asian slaw w/ lime and chilli aioli.

An assortment of gourmet miniature desserts to share amongst your guests, from raspberry friands to chocolate mud cake.

For those who plan on having their reception at a different venue, we offer special packages for 1 or 2 hours following your ceremony at RJM's – enjoy a selection of alcoholic & non-alcoholic drinks and finger food before you continue to the reception.

1 Hour Package – $44 PER HEAD

For parties of 20 to 60
  • Canapes
  • Mini vegetable spring rolls
  • Tempura battered flathead bites
  • Cheese platters with honeycomb
  • Excellent quality local wines (including a Sparkling to Toast the occasion), beers and non-alcoholic drinks

2 Hour Package – $55 PER HEAD

For parties of 20 to 60

  • Prawns, lightly crumbed or tempura & flathead pieces with lemon
